About Bill
A Warm Welcome to Our Journey Together
Hi, I’m Bill. With 15 years dedicated to studying and understanding the intricate connection between mind, emotions, and body, I’m here to walk alongside you on your path to healing and growth.
My own travels have taught me something precious: that true healing happens when we feel safe, heard, and valued. Through my training in person-centred therapy, CBT, mindfulness, compassion therapy, somatic and trauma-informed practices, I’ve learned how to create a sanctuary where your experiences can be honoured with gentleness and care.
I believe deeply in the power of genuine connection. When we work together, your story matters. Whether you’re carrying heavy burdens or exploring new possibilities, I’m committed to meeting you exactly where you are, with warmth and without judgment.
Would you like to take this first step together?
I am a member of the British Association of Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). I’m also a member of the British Association of Mindfulness Based Approaches . My membership of these professional bodies demand that I am
- fully insured to work with you
- practicing within their code of ethics
- attending regular supervision
- maintaining regular CPD

I recognise the courage it takes to reach out and say “I need help”. I can certainly help. I can work with you to develop the safe and compassionate relationship you need to unravel what is causing you discomfort.
Since 2014, I have worked at the frontline of mental health and trauma in Fife. I started practicing mindfulness in 2010, and have studied with the Mindfulness Association ever since. For nearly 10 years, I’ve been teaching Mindfulness Based Cognitive Therapy (MBCT) to people experiencing anxiety and depression. As a psychotherapist I bring all of this experience together when working 1-2-1 with clients.
I have made a commitment to meet all human beings with a compassionate presence. This has been cultivated and reinvigorated by my recent completion of a one year ‘Person-centred, contact-orientated counselling/psychotherapy in a nature setting‘ with Heart Wood.
As well as my private practice, I’ve worked for Drugs Alcohol Psychotherapies Limited (DAPL) providing counselling to individuals experiencing trauma and addiction. I’m currently working 1 day per week as a counsellor with VOCAL – “caring for unpaid carers”. I love wild swimming in the sea and lochs.
